With his « hands-on » entrepreneurial approach, Coen’s first successful business venture was at age 17.
In 2002, Coen acquired a French estate, which he has developed into the top hospitality and field sports business with a high profile international clientele. The property is now restored to its 17th Century glory and there is, with the aid of a unique government grant, a Pheasant, Partridge and duck shoot re-established at the château.
It is an absolute paradise.

All shooting takes place around the chateau at walking distance- if you choose so, you literally will walk to every drive!!
A team of experienced loaders is available if requested.
The shooting is “low-key” / family style … mixed bag of Partridge, Pheasant and Duck …
But nevertheless very well presented birds (Irish game-keeper) … 300 bird days and multiple days.
On a typical day …
Breakfast – assemble at the gun-room – walk to the first two drives – come back for elevenses – walk to drives 3 and 4 – come back for (delicious) lunch – walk to drive 5 – walk back to the house for tea/drinks – relax – delicious dinner with Grand Cru wines – heavenly !!!
Non-shooting guests can join at any time or take walks or relax at the house …
